THE CAPACITY YOU HAVE AVAILABLE
the capacity gap
THE LIFE YOU ARE TRYING TO BUILD
01 / THE IDEA
THE
CAPACITY
GAP
You've heard of the confidence gap. The wage gap. The mental load.
But what about the capacity gap?
The distance between the life you're trying to build and the internal resources you have available to actually live it.
Not dramatically. Just the particular kind of overwhelm that doesn't disappear when you finally cross everything off the list. Slowly, I'd become increasingly absent from my own life.
I had practiced meditation for twenty years—and I was still overriding everything I knew.
Eventually, I stopped treating practice like maintenance I could skip when life got busy and started understanding it as the ground everything else was standing on.
02 / My Story
I spent years looking capable while quietly being miserable.
It's a capacity problem.
It's not a time-management problem.
It's not a motivation problem.
We are, most of us, trying to fix the wrong thing first.
The people who could stay present in difficult work weren't necessarily the toughest. They were the ones who had something solid underneath them.

For nearly two decades, I've worked inside systems designed to respond to some of the world's hardest problems.

WHAT I'VE LEARNED
Groundwork isn't about optimizing yourself into a better-performing version of who you already are. It's about becoming connected enough to yourself to know what matters—and steady enough to act on it.
The more grounded you become, the more clearly you can see what matters—and the more deliberately you can shape what comes next.
The goal isn't to eliminate difficulty. It's to build the ability to stay present, recover, discern and choose when difficulty arrives.
03
You don't need to become someone else.
Capacity is a skill.
A connection to your own core.
Knowing yourself clearly enough that you aren't constantly pushed around by everyone else's urgency and noise.
Enough ground beneath you to find the wider view—and choose from there.

04 / The Practice
Let's build yours.
The world needs people with groundwork.
I'm here to help you build something solid underneath you.
The capacity to stay present when things get difficult. The clarity to know what matters. The confidence to make choices that are actually your own. And the creativity to shape what comes next.
The Invitation
I'm not here to hand you one more thing to manage.
