Is Groundwork therapy?

No. Groundwork is an educational and practice-based approach to building greater steadiness, clarity, presence, and connection in everyday life. It draws from contemplative practice, movement, creativity, community, and Rebecca's experience working with people in complex environments. It can complement therapy, but it isn't a replacement for mental health care.

I'm already overwhelmed. Is this going to give me more to do?

That's exactly what Groundwork is designed not to become. The goal isn't to hand you another elaborate routine to maintain. The practices are intentionally small and adaptable so you can begin building capacity inside the life you already have.

What is FOUNDATIONS?

FOUNDATIONS is the core Groundwork program: a structured introduction to the practices and skills that help you move from reactive autopilot toward greater presence, steadiness, clarity, and connection. It's designed to be practical, spacious, and possible to use in real life—not another course you have to race through.

When will I start to notice a difference?

Some shifts can happen surprisingly quickly. You may begin noticing your reactions sooner, creating a little more space before responding, or recognizing what you need in a difficult moment. Other changes build through repetition. Groundwork isn't about chasing a dramatic transformation. It's about practicing until greater steadiness, clarity, and choice become more available to you in everyday life.

What if I have trouble staying consistent?

You don't need perfect consistency for this work to matter. In fact, learning how to return after you've lost the thread is part of the practice. Groundwork is designed for real lives: busy weeks, interruptions, competing demands and all. The goal isn't to never lose your ground. It's to get better at finding your way back.
